THUNDER UNDER HEAVEN
(vol. 1 & 2)

"The two DVD's are terrific. The railroad parts are fantastic AND you really captured the majestic scenery beautifully. Your shots of the Grand Canyon are about the best I've ever seen!"

Jay Carsman
California

THE ROCK TRAINS

My grandson (Sebastian, age 3) and I have been busy watching THE ROCK TRAINS. I think we have watched the DVD about 20-30 times.

No.10 is "Percy" and No.5 is Thomas. He is beginning to anticipate occurrences in the "tale."

He particularly likes the "dumping scenes" and anticipates "cows on the track."

The shot of No.10 chuffing over the Big Michel River bridge is one of the high points for him each time.

We both enjoy ROCK TRAINS very much. And I certainly enjoy sharing the time with Sebastian. Thank you !

STEAM-POWER SAWMILL:

"What a journey...from tree to final product! I had to go back a couple of times to get a double take of various segments! Great stuff!

I think I have watched Steam Power Sawmill at least 15 times!

The sound on the DVD is as if I was standing right there next to the machinery, that blew me away!

I look forward to future releases!

Once again, thank you for producing a fine movie!

Like so many of our fans, Stephan loves to build models of railroad operations. Although from Europe he chose to model operations as seen in Western Oregon. You can see pictures of his creativity at his personal website: http://www.stephan-besier.de

Southern Pacific engine #2472Southern Pacific Engine #2472
comes to

Niles Canyon
...and that's no secret!

We were so excited that this big black beauty has made its home at Niles Canyon that we took our little gift shop video and turned it into a big production.

That's why we now offer the expanded edition of...
The Secret of Niles CanyonThe Secret of Niles Canyon

Although THE SECRET OF NILES CANYON came out a few years ago, we never did a lot to promote it. It was just meant to be a little offering at the Niles Canyon Railway gift shop.

But, having a classic, operational Southern Pacific passenger locomotive on the high iron changed everything.

This heavy "Pacific" type locomotive was a high profile engine on the Southern Pacific Railroad for a good part of the 20th century.
Although built in 1921, the highly successful design by Baldwin had the Southern Pacific keeping them in operation until the very end of the steam era. d

#2472 is one of only three survivors. You'll learn all about it (and see her in operation) in the DVD.

The Niles Canyon Railway features the combined collections of the Pacific Locomotive
Quincy Railroad #2Association (PLA) and the Golden Gate Railroad Museum (GGRM).

Lot's of historic equipment lives in Niles Canyon. And the canyon itself has railroading history stretching back over 150 years.

The Secret of Niles Canyon dvd comes packed with extras. Not only do you get the expanding story of Niles Canyon, the dvd contains 2 Bonus Featurettes:
  • The Annual Train of Lights (one of the most decorated holiday trains in the country)
  • The Complete Cab Ride in #2472

Holiday Train of Lights at Niles Canyon
The holiday trains sell out months in advance, so it's nice to have a front row seat.

The Cab Ride sequence with #2472 is great for everyone whoever thought about what it feels like to be in the cab of one of these beautiful Baldwin locomotives.....and all in 5.1 Surround Sound so you can really feel it.

Of course, that's not to forget all the other equipment you'll see featured in this dvd....from Skunk Cars...to center cab diesels...to Plymouth gas-powered yard goats and tank engines.

A great "little video-that-could"....that just got better. And at a great price, too.
